With dual focus on both the theoretical and practical worlds of filmmaking, the Department of Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres provides programs for students with the flexibility to explore all aspects of the industry. Our faculty are professionals and filmmakers who actively screen at festivals and exhibition spaces from the Sundance Film Festival to the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
