Notes

  1. Honors Seminar: Understanding Your Environment
Our goal in this seminar is to learn to see the place we live through the eyes of many academic disciplines in the Humanities, Natural and Social Sciences. This careful inquiry from multiple perspectives will help us come to know how to know both place and self and add to our responsible stewardship of the land community, our home. The investigations in each of the subject areas in this course will be led by faculty members from the relevant disciplines along with the lead instructor for the course. This seminar will allow students to be active learners and to work closely with professors from multiple disciplines.
