  1. The theme of this course will be women's writing across genres. We will be reading a critically-acclaimed memoirs (Wild), including one in a graphic form (Persepolis), a novel out of short stories (Love Medicine), a slave narrative and even a horror film, The Babadook. Students can take the course for gender studies credit or English.
